DNA profiling determines your own unique DNA “fingerprint”. This is your most personal and unique form of identification possible. Hence, your DNA profile is indisputable proof of genetic identification, which is useful for:

How does it work?
Your DNA is collected in exactly the same way as all of our other DNA analyses – from a painless mouth swab.
At the laboratory, your DNA is extracted from your cells in the mouth swab. It is amplified by a technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and 21 genetic markers are analyzed to generate your DNA profile.
NOTE
You will receive a verified certificate detailing your DNA profile. However, this result will not provide your with any other genetic information related to health, disease risk, ancestry etc. See our DNA Tests page if you require a different genetic analysis.
